Interactive Arts Wins at the DLR Student Enterprise Awards!

On the 13th of March Interactive Arts won first place at the Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Student Enterprise Awards.  The event was setup over six years ago to promote student entrepreneurship, with over 30 business entries, ranging from 1st years all the way up to 6th years. The event was a big success with a huge variety of projects and the students showed great passion and dedication for their respective businesses.

I gained a huge amount of experience from the event ranging from public speaking to dealing with large crowds of spectators. As well as this I also gained very useful feedback from surveys filled out by the student body.

A special thanks to Michael Johnson (CEO DLR CEB), Cllr. Carrie Smyth, Paddy Beare (Chairman DLR CEB), Joseph Keating (DLR CEB) and all the people behind the scenes at the DLR Student Enterprise awards.
